In the upcoming episode “Because the Night,” Damon takes Elena on an adventure to New York City in an effort to get her mind off of recent events. Judging from our exclusive first look from the episode, it appears that Elena has gotten a new look on her trip by adding some red streaks and stylish new waves to her tresses.

If that is the look on Damon’s face when he sees Elena’s new look, I’m done.
